Apple’s new iPad Pro promises to be the best iPad ever. With a 9.7 inch display screen, 2048×1536 resolution, 3.1 million pixels with 264 pixels per inch, and weighing only 0.96 pounds, and 6.1 mm thin, Apple expects their new iPad to take off.
But did Apple just release a product that will not be in demand, that no one will rush out for?According to a graph by Statista, tablet sales have hardly risen since 2013 and are expected to rise to only 303.5 million by 2018.
Surely, no one is saying that iPads and other tablets will never come in handy. However, with many people choosing smartphones, some question the utility of tablets. As smartphones continue to improve, many things that people use their computers for will be done on smartphones.
